Tuxedo Cake

Ingredients:

Cake:
• 1 cup (125g) flour
• 1/2 cup (50g) cocoa powder
• 1 cup (200g) sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
• 1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable oil
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

White Cake:
• 1 cup (125g) flour
• 1/2 cup (100g) sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
• 1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable oil
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream:
• 200g cream cheese, at room temperature
• 100g butter, at room temperature
• 2 cups (240g) powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

For the topping:
• Grated white and dark chocolate or chocolate chips



Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two cake pans.

2. For the dark chocolate cake, mix the flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Add the milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla and beat until smooth. Pour into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, then let cool.

3. For the white cake, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla, and beat until smooth. Pour into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, then let cool.

4. For the cream, beat the cream cheese and butter. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla and continue beating until smooth.

5. Layer the cake: Spread cream on top of the dark chocolate cake, place the white cake on top, spread cream again.

6. Garnish the top with grated chocolate or chocolate pieces.

7. Chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving.
