Ingredients:
For the Marinade:
-
1 ½ lbs flank or skirt steak, thinly sliced
-
3 tablespoons olive oil
-
Juice of 2 limes
-
2 tablespoons soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 teaspoon ground cumin
-
1 teaspoon chili powder
-
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
-
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Fajitas:
-
1 red bell pepper, sliced
-
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
-
1 green bell pepper, sliced
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
2. Marinate the Steak: Add the thinly sliced steak to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
3. Cook the Fajitas: Heat a large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated steak and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
4. Sauté the Bell Peppers: In the same pan, add the sliced bell peppers and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until they are softened but still slightly crisp.
5. Serve: Return the steak to the pan with the peppers and toss everything together. Serve the sizzling steak fajitas with tortillas, guacamole, salsa, or any other toppings you like.
Enjoy your flavorful sizzling steak fajitas!
