Ingredients (Serves 2)

For the Sea Bass:

  • 2 sea bass fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)

  • ½ tsp lemon zest

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)

For Garnish (Optional):

  • Fresh parsley, chopped

  • Lemon wedges

Instructions:

1.  Prepare the Sea Bass:

Pat the sea bass fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides of the fillets with salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using).

2.  Cook the Sea Bass:

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the sea bass fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fillets from the pan and set them aside.

3.  Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the unsalted butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden.

- Add the lemon juice and zest to the pan, and stir to combine.

4.  Serve:

Return the sea bass fillets to the pan, spooning the garlic butter sauce over the fish. Let it cook for another minute to coat the fillets in the sauce.

5.  Garnish and Serve:

Transfer the sea bass fillets to a plate, drizzle with the garlic butter sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges (if desired).

Serve with your choice of sides and enjoy!
