π Ingredients:
-
4 fresh limes, quartered
-
4 cups cold water
-
½ cup sugar
-
¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
-
Ice, for serving
π§ Instructions:
1. Wash and Cut the Limes:
-
Wash the limes thoroughly to remove any dirt or wax.
-
Cut each lime into quarters.
2. Blend:
-
In a blender, combine half of the limes, 2 cups of cold water, and ¼ cup sugar.
-
Pulse (blend) for only 10–15 seconds. Do not over-blend, as the lime peels can make the drink bitter.
-
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove the pulp and peel.
-
Repeat with the remaining limes, 2 more cups of water, and ¼ cup sugar (or adjust sweetness to your taste). Strain again.
3. Add Sweetened Condensed Milk:
-
Stir in ¼ cup of sweetened condensed milk into the strained liquid. Mix well until fully combined and creamy.
4. Serve:
-
Pour the lemonade over a glass full of ice.
-
Serve immediately for the best flavor and freshness.
β Tips:
-
This drink is best enjoyed fresh – avoid letting it sit for too long, as the lime peels can cause bitterness over time.
-
You can adjust the sweetness or creaminess by adding more or less sugar or condensed milk.
